Ingredients
- 490g jar pasta bake three-cheese sauce
- 415g can red salmon, drained, flaked, large bones discarded
- 250g (11 ⁄2 cups) frozen peas, corn & capsicum
- 60ml (1 ⁄4 cup) thickened cream
- 1 green shallot, thinly sliced
- 450g packet microwave long grain white rice
- 120g (11/2 cups) coarsely grated cheddar
- Select all ingredients
Method Steps
- Step 1Place the pasta sauce, salmon, frozen vegies, cream and shallot in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring, for 3-4 minutes or until the mixture comes to the boil.
- Step 2Meanwhile, heat the rice in the microwave following packet directions. Spread the rice over the base of a 2L (8 cup) greased baking dish.
- Step 3Preheat the oven grill to high. Spread the salmon mixture over the rice. Sprinkle with the cheese. Grill for 3 minutes or until the cheese is golden and melted.
