LOW CARB CHOCOLATE PROTEIN PANCAKES RECIPE

  • 1/2 cup Whey protein powder (or collagen, or egg white protein powder)
  • 1/2 cup Wholesome Yum Blanched Almond Flour
  • 3 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp Besti Erythritol (or sweetener of choice)
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp Avocado oil (or melted coconut oil)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp Sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Shake all ingredients together in the Whiskware Batter Mixer. Let the batter sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Preheat a pan over medium-low heat. Squeeze batter into the pan to form small circles (3 inches in diameter). Cover with a lid and cook for a couple of minutes, until bubbles form on top. Use a very thin turner to carefully flip the pancakes, then cook for a couple of minutes on the other side. 
  3. Repeat with the remaining batter.
