INGREDIENTS:
- 2 (20 mm) Meatloaf slices (approx. 3/4-inch thick) , leftover slices are ideal
- 1/2 Tablespoon (7.5 ml) Vegetable Oil
- Salt , to taste
- Black Pepper , to taste
- 4 slices Bread
OPTIONAL SANDWICH CONDIMENTS
- Dijon Mustard
- Mayonnaise
- Crispy Lettuce , iceberg, romaine, green leaf, etc…
- Red Onion slices
- Pickles
- Tomato slices
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Slice the meatloaf into an approximately 3/4-inch (2cm) slice.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the oil and then place the meatloaf slices cut side down. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until browned.
- Carefully flip the slices over, season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until browned and heated through.
- Toast the bread slices and then dress with mustard and mayonnaise. Assemble the sandwich with the desired condiments and enjoy!
